BIG SKY BARN, MONTGOMERY TX We saw the venue before it was finished being built. It was the first venue we toured, but we knew right away it was a perfect blend of both of our personalities – a whimsical rustic place with a bit of modern industrial flair.
Gown
I attended a Martina Liana trunk show at Brickhouse Bridal in The Woodlands. It was a designer-attended show, so she was actually there when I tried on her gowns. It was the coolest experience having the designer admire her gowns on me. Perfect blend of both of our personalities – a whimsical rustic place with a bit of modern industrial flair.
Bride's Advice
Prioritize what is most important to the two of you and focus your energy and money there. After every friend’s wedding leading up to ours, we would each state the three things afterwards that we remembered about their wedding and how important it was to us. Don’t be afraid to go against “the norm.” Make your wedding display who you and your groom are together.
