The proposal took place on Mother's Day weekend, adding an extra layer of warmth and significance to the occasion. Matthew surprised Cassandra with a gift bag, inside of which was a ring sizer gauge set. As she turned to ask questions about the gift, she found Matthew on one knee, holding the ring. Overwhelmed with joy, Cassandra said "yes" without hesitation, beginning their journey towards marriage.
The wedding took place at the stunning Big Sky Barn located in Montgomery, Texas. Upon hearing about the venue through a friend, Cassandra and Matthew knew it was the perfect choice. The venue's charm and the exceptional staff made it an easy decision for the couple.
Cassandra's gown was an Essence of Australia D2819 design, adding a touch of elegance and sophistication to her bridal look. The simplicity and beauty of the gown were perfectly suited to her style.
The couple opted for a classic white wedding cake from H-E-B, adorned with buttercream frosting. The choice of a sweet and simple cake complemented the overall atmosphere of the wedding.
Two unique moments during the wedding stood out for Cassandra and Matthew. The first was their "first touch," a special and intimate moment that eased their nerves and created beautiful photographs.
