Larissa Aguilar and Jon Dyson’s story wasn’t your typical romance. It all started in the gym, where Larissa, full of confidence and curiosity, struck up a conversation with Jon about music. “I actually approached him first to see what this man was all about,” Larissa shared. A few casual exchanges later, they swapped numbers.
As little time passed, they kept in touch at the gym, went on a smoothie date, and by that weekend, Larissa had practically moved in. “I stayed over and just never left,” she said, joking that it was the best decision she’d ever made.
They didn’t follow the usual love story timeline… traveling the world, jumping into serious discussions, and, without missing a beat, planning a wedding. By December 1, 2024, Larissa and Jon were ready to make it official. No fancy proposal, no big surprise. They picked out rings, wore them, and that was it, simple and straightforward, just like their relationship. “We were already making married-people moves,” Larissa said.
For their wedding, Larissa chose The Farmhouse in Montgomery, Texas, a beautiful venue she had been dreaming about since high school. Thanks to planners Hannah and Emily, her ideas, some well-thought-out, others just wishes she’d had, came together seamlessly. “I had their planners Hannah and Emily help put all my ideas together!” she said, emphasizing how great they were at turning her scattered thoughts into reality. The day was filled with personal touches that reflected their spontaneous and adventurous spirits.

The ceremony was heartfelt but low-key. Larissa and Jon exchanged vows in front of close friends and family, each moment filled with authenticity and ease. It wasn’t about the pomp and circumstance, it was about them, together, ready to begin the next chapter of their life.
The reception was full of surprises, with Larissa and Jon breaking tradition in their own way. Instead of giving their wedding party the usual gifts, they handed out custom bobbleheads. The laughter and cheers when the gifts were unwrapped set the tone for a night of fun and dancing. They kept the energy high with a scavenger hunt game, getting everyone involved and ready for the dance floor.
Elaine and Miranda, the photographer and videographer duo, captured every moment flawlessly, making sure the day was documented just as it had been lived- fun, authentic, and full of love.

After the wedding, the couple headed to Jackson Hole, Wyoming, for a honeymoon filled with snowboarding, exploring Yellowstone, and experiencing the natural beauty around them. It was an adventurous end to the whirlwind journey that had brought them to this point.
Their love story wasn’t conventional, but that’s exactly how they wanted it… unpredictable, exciting, and undeniably theirs. As far as they were concerned, this was just the beginning of their most exciting chapter yet.
Bridal Advice: "Take your time and make a couple of lists of things that are a must and things you can do without. Get a planner!! You never really know what all you have to get done until its last minute and then you are panicking to double check that everything was booked or reserved."
