Meera Krishna and David Peterson
Meera and David met at Dartmouth College at a party during Meera’s freshman year and David’s sophomore year. They immediately felt a connection therefore, began dating few months later.
After they moved to New York, David planned a scavenger hunt in the West Village of NYC that led Meera to her favorite restaurants and ended at their apartment where David was waiting to propose. She said yes, and David took her to TriBeCa where all of their friends and families gathered to surprise her with an engagement party.
The Vineyard at Florence in Florence, Texas “was such a beautiful, elegant and bucolic setting,” Meera said, making it suitable for their Indian/Western fusion wedding. The Leave the Details to Me team put an elegant twist on the traditional Indian wedding making it a successful multicultural evening. The bride’s ceremony gown was custom made from India; her reception gown was by Alice & Olivia. Meera and David spent their honeymoon in Turkey. – Thutrang Ma
